Beneficiary’s Past (please include details that depict beneficiary’s background, including where he/she lives, socio-economic conditions, family and work details): Faizanullah Kaleem Ahmad Shaikh is 21 years old trainee He is doing distance education from Uttar Pradesh University. He is in 2ndyear B.sc student. He has born and brought up in Uttar Pradesh. He has worked there in uttar Pradesh but as per his education and experience he is not well paid so he migrated to Mumbai. His parents are staying in Uttar Pradesh. His father is a farmer.
Why there was a need for intervention: He was very depressed and he needs financial help. In his family there were several issues. During the intervention, we found he has lots of potential, if he gets a chance to enroll in our course he will overcome his situation.
Challenges/problems faced by the beneficiary before intervention:He has worked there in uttar Pradesh but as per his education and experience he is not well paid so he migrated to Mumbai. His father is a farmer. His father is not earning well as his occupation is farming. Faizanaullah have lots of responsibility on him. He don’t wanted to migrate from uttar Pradesh but lack of opportunity he decided to move from uttar Pradesh. Now he is staying at his aunt’s house in dharavi. When he came in Mumbai he started searching jobs but he didn’t got anywhere. As he was new so its took time to search places and vacancies in Mumbai. After searching everywhere he got tried and upset so his cousin told him about this SMART TRAINING PROGRAM, SHIELD FOUNDATION. So he joined immidetaly.
How TMF supported the beneficiary:We identified he has shown his interest, he was eager to learn, he was good in all subjects. He was a regular student. We always used to give him counseling service.
Change in the life of the beneficiary (please mention the positive changes in his/her life that has happened because of TMF’s intervention): This was a turning point in his life. He introduced a new course “ITES” in the skill development program and enroll him. Shield foundation boosts his confidence by conducting the counseling session. He successfully completes the session. He is placed in Burger King and earning about Rs 11,000 per Month Travelling allowance 1000/- and Incentive Rs. 2000.

Now (after TMF’s intervention), how does the beneficiary envisage his/her future:He wants to complete his education from his earned money. He also aims to become a senior person in that company. He thinks that after doing this course he his life has been changed and its became better from before. He likes his work very much. He is suggesting his all friends to join this SMART Center.
